Tired of the same old traditional Indian restaurant food? The time has come to enliven your tastebuds with exotic new flavours of the far east. Welcome to a new kind of Indian food experience.
TYC delivers a modern take on Indian food through a focus on refined cooking techniques that promote flavour and gastronomy along with a high quality dining experience at reasonable prices.
With a variety of dishes specially crafted by India's most celebrated celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, TYC provides a tour of India with flavour destinations that showcase the quintessential dishes of each region. We caught up with TYC's eminent
Executive Chef Umang Datta to learn more about how he and his team are bringing a fresh and contemporary twist to classic Indian dishes like Shaam Savera and Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh.
Upon entering the restaurant, you'll find yourself greeted by warm and inviting staff, modern elegant decorum and the gentle hum of a waterfall that beckons you to the bar.
Guava? Lychee? 5 alarm chilli powder? If pain and pleasure can co-exist in life, then why not mix them up in a beverage - complete with soothing mint leaves and garnish, of course. You'll find a vast array of exotic cocktails and mock-tails at the bar to satisfy whatever you're jonesing for.
Sweet and Spicy
What do you get when you take fresh Indian paneer kofta's, roll them in spinach and place them in a luxurious cream based curry that resonates with the complex aromatics of an array of Indian spices? Why you get Shaam-Savera of course, one of several signature dishes that Chef Datta and his team have to offer. We recommend copious amounts of rice to accompany this one.
Ever wonder what heaven smells like? We're not exactly sure either, but it's almost certain that pan roasted lamb is involved. Specifically lamb shank that's been marinated perfectly for hours in a blend of exotic spices, then braised to perfection in a magnificent sauce bursting with potent Indian spices. Chef Datta's Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh is simply not of this world. Pure ambrosia.
Lured to the Tandoor
Traditional Tandoori cooking traces back thousands of years to ancient India. At TYC, you'll experience all the flavour that comes with this manner of cooking, artfully plated and beautifully presented to you.
Whether it's roasted prawns, a variety of sumptuous appetizers or incredible breads - everything from Roti's to several varieties of Naan are served hot off the Tandoor at TYC.
